The Winflower Resort - Coorg opens
The Windflower, Coorg, nestled in a wooded valley, amidst a sprawling 28 acres of coffee plantation, is just a two hour drive from Mysore. You will find the misty slopes, the eucalyptus forests, the aroma of coffee and spices welcoming you as you enter a world of gourmet cuisines, exciting adventure and leisure options and a choice of wellness therapies. There are 3 categories of Accommodations – 12 Studios each 650 square feet with a Living cum bedroom, Bathroom with an Additional Open Shower & a Balcony; 24 Suites each 850 square feet with a Living Room, Bedroom, Bathroom with a Jacuzzi Tub & an Additional Open Shower & 8 Villas each 1000 square feet with a Living Room that is opening out to the backyard where there is a Private Jacuzzi, a Bedroom & a Bathroom. The restaurant at the resort offers a buffet spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu includes Indian, Asian and Continental cuisines along with the best of authentic Coorg dishes. Perhaps the largest spa in South India, Emerge at The Windflower, Coorg, is a one-of its kind Destination Spa and you could choose to experience an hour long de-stress massage or a month long detoxifying programme.



The ‘O’ Hotel Goa opens
The ‘O’ Goa, located in North Goa on Candolim beach offers 75 rooms with deluxe courtyard rooms facing the garden, facing the water bodies and facing the sea. The suites face the sea shore, with the ultimate presidential suite having its own private pool. The hotel offers rich adining experiences – Harajuku, the only authentic Japanese dining option with “Interactive Open Kitchen” concept in Goa; Kitsch, a multi-cuisine restaurant & Addah the roof top restaurant. Other facilities include the Spa & gym.
Alilas opens in Goa
Alila Diwa Goa, India—sited on the beautiful Majorda Beach in south Goa, the resort fuses traditional architecture with understated elegance, tastefully complemented with varied options and recreational zones for family activities.
