Jet, Kingfisher Airlines form strategic alliance In the first of its kind in the Indian aviation industry Jet airways and Kingfisher airlines have entered into a strategic alliance to fight back the financial crisis being faced by the global economy. In the current situation the airlines have come together on a common ground to work together with regards to fuel management, ground handling, sales and staff as well as rationalize network and crew. As per both airlines there is no equity implications in this alliance. This alliance is similar to global alliances such as One World, Sky Team, and Star Alliance. Kingfisher starts operations to Nanded & Latur Kingfisher Airlines has started operations linking Mumbai to Nanded & Latur from 6th October 2008.
