Jet Airways to introduces direct services on Mumbai-Dhaka sector
Jet Airways has introduced new direct services on the Mumbai-Dhaka-Mumbai sectors, aboard its state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft, effective December 23, 2009. The new Mumbai-Dhaka flight will initially operate six days a week, with the exception of Tuesdays. Effective March 29, 2010, it will be a daily flight.

China Airlines shifts stop over from Bangkok to Delhi for flights to Rome
China Airlines has shifted its stop over from Bangkok to Delhi for flights to Rome, saving almost one hour of travel time. As per the company release, this stopover makes China Airlines the first airline to operate a direct flight between Delhi and Rome. China Airlines will operate three round-trip flights each week from Taoyuan International Airport to Delhi and Rome. A specially retrofitted A330-300 will be used on the new route, with a two-class configuration that offers passengers comfort on the long-haul flight.
