The Jewel Hospitality Group launches luxury caravans

The Jewel Hospitality Group, a subsidiary of Psyche Hospitality Enterprises Limited (PHEL), a Delhi-based hospitality and tourism consultancy company, has rolled out luxury caravans to service certain select tourism circuits in Northern India. The caravans, branded as Jewel Rotels, claim to be equipped with facilities to match a first class airline and offer the comforts of a five-star hotel suite. The company has currently three TATA-709 converted luxury caravans with capacity to seat eight for tourists to use for sightseeing on the Delhi-Agra-Delhi and Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi routes. They can also be used for sightseeing in Delhi. According to company sources, the company has plans to roll out ten more Rotels with varying capacities of three, four and eight by the end of 2009.

The fully air-conditioned Rotels, which are equipped with mini-bars, hospitality trays and shower cubicles, also enhance the guest experience through individually dedicated interactive entertainment modules, which include a range of activities from music videos, religious discourses, multilingual movies and travelogues. One driver, a helper, and steward will be part of the caravan throughout the journey.
