HIGH FLY Kingfisher Airlines launches Chennai - Salem Flights India's Kingfisher Airlines has launched daily direct flights between Chennai and Salem. The flights are being operated using ATR aircraft. The flights are conveniently timed with flight, IT 4737 departing from Chennai at 14:50 and arriving in Salem at 15:50. The return flight, IT 4738 takes off from Salem at 16:20 and reaches Chennai at 17.20. Nepal plans to connect Pokhara with Indian cities through direct air connectivity Nepal is planning to connect one of its major tourist destinations, Pokhara through air with Indian cities. There have been talks about establishing direct air connectivity between Pokhara and some cities like Lucknow, Kolkata, Patna and Varanasi. As of now, Lucknow has been almost confirmed.
