Kingfisher launches daily Mumbai-London flight
Vijay Mallya-owned Kingfisher Airlines on Monday launched its first daily non-stop Mumbai-London flight with a new Airbus 330-200 aircraft, configured in two classes.

Mumbai-London is the private carrier's second overseas flight after the one on Bangalore-London route that was launched in September last year. Kingfisher also plans to launch Mumbai-Hong Kong and Mumbai-Singapore flight from January 2009.


Airlines slashed their domestic fares up to 65%

Premier airlines like Kingfisher and Jet have slashed their domestic fares up to 65% on all the destinations from Jaipur. National carrier Indian Airlines too has slashed the domestic fare by 35% to give the air traffic a boost.


A low-cost carrier has decided to reintroduce its Rs 99 scheme on all destinations from Jaipur after a brief gap of six months. Ten flights, which were withdrawn by different airlines six months back due to recession in the aviation industry, are likely to be resumed in coming months, hinted an airport official.SpiceJet has recently started their services to Kolkata and Goa aiming at providing a complete travel solution to tourists in the region.
