Carlson to add 52 hotels in India by 2009 US-based Carlson Hotels Worldwide is all set to add about 52 hotels in India by 2009.
The company is looking to invest USD 15-20 million per hotel for expansion of its mid-market brands - Park Inn and Country Inn - in the Indian market. Carlson is also keen on launching its luxury brand Regent in the country, starting with the NCR region and then, moving on to Mumbai. At present, it operates four global hospitality brands - Radisson, Park Plaza, Country Inn & Suites and Park Inn - in India.
