Brijraj Bhawan Palace Hotel is a Heritage Hotel. It is also the residence of Maharao Brijraj Singh of Kotah and his family. It was built in 1830 A.D. as the British Residency and later became the State guesthouse of Kotah in 1900 A.D. This colonial style building is situated on the right bank of the river Chambal and commands a magnificent view. Its spacious rooms are graced with elegant period furniture. The drawing and dining rooms are very eye catching, with many personal affects of the royal family.
