SARANGKOT - This provides one of the highest viewpoints in Pokhara of the valley and Himalayan peaks. The 1592-metre high summit is crowned by ruins of a kot or the stone fortress of the old Kaski Kingdom. Phewa Tal, Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhare are all visible from here. For a clear view, it is advisable to get up early or alternatively, stay overnight in one of the lodges below the summit.




SETI RIVER - “Seti” in the local language means “white” and for this reason, indisputably, the river couldn’t have had a better name. The milky waters of Seti River flowing across Pokhara attract a number of tourists here. The reason behind the river being so white is the limestone-rich soil which mixes with the water, imparting it a different colour.
