Eklingji is famous for its temples. The Eklingji Temple is devoted to Shiva, the guardian deity of the Mewar. The deity, the virtual ruler was represented by its regents (dewans)the Maharajas of Mewar .







Kumbalgarh Fort Built by Maharana Kumbha in 15th century AD, the Kumbhalgarh fort is at an altitude of 1,100 metres above sea level amidst thirteen mountain peaks of the Aravali range. The fort stands stands today as a prudent sentinel to the legacy of its kings and princes. The fort was the final retreating place for the rulers of Mewar at times of danger.





Nagda has three ruins of Jain temples. The Adbhutji Temple and the Vaishnavite Sas-Bahu Temples are all dating back to the 11th century. Nagda lies in the vicinity of Eklingi and can be reached on bicycles.
