Tourist Attraction around Badrinath

Devprayag
Devprayag situated on the confluence the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda has rock inscriptions of great historical importance. The temples of Lord Raghunath and Shiva are visited by hundreds of devoted pilgrims every year.






Hemkund Sahib
Hemkund Sahib is a scared pilgrimage place for Hindus as well as Sikhs. The Gurudwara and the Lakshman Temple on banks of the scenic Hemkund lake are major attractions here. Guru Govind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, is believed to have meditated on the bank of this lake.





Karnaprayag
Karnaprayag is on the confluence of Alaknanda and Pindar rivers. The temples dedicated to Uma and Karna attract the religiously inclined tourists all through the year.






Mana Village
Mana Village a tribal village 4 km from Badrinath, is mostly inhabited by the Bhotias. This last Indian village on the Indo-Tibetan border is the base point for journeyes Ganesh Gufa, to Vyas Gufa, Bhimpul and Vasundhara Falls.





Mata Murli Mandir
Mata Murli Mandir is 3 km from Badrinath, on the bank of the Alaknanda. The temple is dedicated to the mother of Shri Badrinathji. An annual fair is held in the month of September in the temple.


Nandaprayag
Nandaprayag is situated on the bank of the Alaknanda, Nandprayag is famed for its Gopalji temple. The River Mandakini merges with the Alaknanda at Nandaprayag.





Rudraprayag
is situated just a few kilometres from the Badrinath temple. It is located at the confluence of the two holy rivers, namely, the Alaknanda and Mandakini. Rudraprayag is also famous for its Rudranath and Chamunda Devi temples.
