Day 01 Delhi – Rishikesh

Arrive Delhi and depart to Rishikesh by road (Approx. 224 kms / 06 hrs). Upon arrival in Rishikesh, transfer to hotel. Evening visit the Ghat's to encounter evening Ghat life as well as special Arti "The Prayer dedicated to Goddess Ganges" "the town of ashrams and temples, Ghats and pilgrims, mountains and the holy Ganges. When global orange sun suspended, waits low amid the red/yellow streaked horizon, then all these combine to give this town a very special evening. The temple bells roar, priests enchant mantras. After experiencing above we trace ours steps back to the hotel.

Day 02 Rishikesh – Hanumanchatti via Mussorie

After breakfast in the hotel, depart to Hanumanchatti by road enroute visit Mussorie. On the outskirts of Mussorie away from summer hill station rush, enroute stopover for refreshments & washroom. Later drive to Hanumanchatti. The Entire drive is along the Yamuna river today. Arrive Hanumanchatti and transfer to hotel.

Day 03 Hanumanchatti – Yamunotri – Hanumanchatti via Jankichatti

Morning after breakfast take a jeep from Hanumannchatti to Jankichatti. Arrive Jankichatti and commence trek / pony to Yamunotri, the source of Yamuna – the second most important llife giving river in India. After darshan & puja trek / Pony to Jankichatti. Arrive Jankichatti and depart to Hanumannchatti by road. Dinner and Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 04 Hanumanchatti – Gangotri via Uttarkashi
After breakfast depart to Uttarkashi by road. Arrive Uttarkashi and visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. After Lunch enroute we stop to explore Harsil valley and hot springs of Ganganani. Gangnani: Further up on way to Gangotri, is the hot water spring at Gangnani, where one can have refreshing bath in the kund called Rishikund. There is a temple near the kund dedicated to the Sage Parashar, believed to be the father of Ved Vyas. Later drive to Gangotri Gangotri, IInd of Chardham: Gangotri temple is 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great "Deva Yagna" here to atone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite.

Day 05 Gangotri – Guptakashi via Uttarkashi
Leave very early in the morning for almost day long drive to Guptkashi. Enroute, Breakfast at Charangikhal, the most beautiful & scenic drive of your journey so far. Continue your journey & be prepared to get late for your Lunch at Kirtinagar. On your drive after Charangi Khal, you would pass through Ganga giving way to Tehri Dam (The Electro Hydro Project). With bit of rest continue your journey to Guptkashi. Guptkashi - Guptkashi has a great importance quite like that of Kashi. The ancient Vishwanath temple, Ardhnareshwar temple and Manikarnik Kund, where the two streams of Ganga and Yamuna are believed to meet, are the main places of attraction in Guptkashi. It is believed that after the battle of Mahabharata, the Pandavas wanted to meet Lord Shiva and seek his blessing. But Lord Shiva evaded from Guptkasi to Kedarnath as he did not want to meet the Pandavas, the reason being that although they had fought for the right cause, they were also responsible for destroying their own dynasty. Guptkashi is situated at an elevation of 1319 mts. The one Stupa is situated in Nala which is quite close to Ukhimath. Some local people call it the grave of Rana Nal.

Day 06 Guptakashi – Kedarnath via Gaurikund
Post your leisurely breakfast; leave by vehicle for Gaurikund and from their join other pilgrims for 14 kms trek of Kedarnath. On reaching Kedarnath, meet our representative at Kedarnath. Our representative would lead you to hotel & guide you through other logistics at these high altitude destinations. Evening darshan and Pooja at Kedarnath Temple. O/N stay at Kedarnath. Kedarnath Temple, IIIrd of Chardham: The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam - the main idol, a statue of Nandi - the celestial bull, a 'Garba Grah' for worship and a man dap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. The temple is more than 1000 years old.

Day 07 Kedarnath – Guptakashi via Gaurikund
After morning puja and breakfast, trek down to Gaurikund. Arrive Gaurikund and drive to Guptakashi by road. After lunch excursion to Trijugi Naravan. Explore the temple area of Trijugi Naravan, the venue of marriage of Lord Shiva. Later arrive and check in the hotel.

Day 08 Guptakashi - Badrinath

Morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath enroute visit Okimath – the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath. After visit the temple drive to Chopta – the enrite drive is through the kedarnath Musk deer sanctuary of Nanda Devi National Park. Lunch at Chopta. After lunch enjoy the panormmic view at Dogal Bitta and later drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. The entire drive up to Joshimath is along the Alaknanda river. Arrive Badrinath and check in the hotel. Evening visit the Badrinath Temple.

Day 09 Badrinath – Joshimath
Early morning puja and darshan of Badrinathji and enjoy the sunset and sunrise on Neelkanth peak above the badrinath temple. After breakfast depart to Mana – the last village on the Indo – Tibetan border. Arrive Mana and explore the area and later drive to Joshimath. Arrive Joshimath and check in the hotel. After quick lunch we take a ropeway to Auli. Enjoy the best ski slops in India and also enjoy the sunset on Nanda Devi, the mountain Goddess of Uttrakhand. Evening take the ropeway back to Joshimath.

Day 10 Joshimath – Rishikesh
Morning after breakfast in the hotel visit the ancient Narsingh temple & Shankracharya temple. Later drive to Devprayag and visit ancient temple of Devprayag at the beginning of the holy Ganga. After lunch drive to Rishikesh. Arrive Rishikesh and check in the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 11 Rishikesh - Delhi
After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Delhi by road.

  1. All transport services by air-conditioned vehicle as per the itinerary
  2. All Vegetarian meals during the entire trip from lunch on day 01 till lunch on day 11.
  3. All sightseeing and Darshan as per the itinerary
  4. Services of good English speaking guide during the sightseeing tour only as per the itinerary
  5. All presently applicable taxes.

Exclusions:

  1. Items of personal nature e.g. camera fees, laundry, telephone, travel insurance, medical services, evacuation and services in unforeseen circumstances etc.
  2. Riding ponies on the trek (can be arrange by the guide)
  3. Any other services and trip other then mentioned above.

For Kedarnath one can take Helicopter from Phata which is close to hotel, while the normal trip will stick to the original program unless all the members in the group are taking helicopter services.
